Improve Your International Sales Skills

Top Sales Experts E-Book Summer 2009
I am so excited. The Top Sales Experts Ebook Summer Edition 2009 literally just came off the press.  Before saying anything else, I have to urge you to download this ebook.  Now.  Although it sells for $19.95, you can get it free simply because you are one of my blog readers.

As a Top Sales Expert I am lucky to be authorized to give it away to you.  You see the Top Sales Experts team is dedicated to changing the world in sales by providing the best resource on the planet for sales people.

Now…

Why You Need To Read This

First a little story…

The first part of my professional experience was a dual background in both international sales and international marketing. Even when I was in a marketing function, I always found it vital to nurture my sales skills.

In fact, it is my personal belief that no matter what your job function is, when you know how money is coming into your company and what makes your clients buy from your company, you are better at your job.  That is sales.  When you understand the fundamentals of your business you become better at doing your own part, no matter what it is. Sales is the very basic element of all business, and if you don’t know why you are working, your company will be less competitive than the others out there.

This is part of the reason why I am thrilled I was invited to join the Top Sales Experts. And why I am grateful to be part of this fantastic project of developing the absolute best resource for sales professionals in the world.  Have a look at the high caliber of sales experts in the team and you will get the picture.

This is why I think you should read this ebook whether you are involved in sales or not.  If you are involved in international sales, you will read my article on How To Prepare For International Selling, but I am sure you will also appreciate the other articles here.  Those other Top Sales Experts know their stuff.

42 sales experts give you their best advice for improving your sales skills and getting more sales right now.  To help you now, in today’s economy. There is lots of practical advice and I hope you come away from reading this just as inspired as I am.

I am truly humbled to have an article here and to be included with so many prestigious sales experts.

Other Sales Resources

I hope you do take the time to read this ebook.  But I also hope you remember to review you sales skills regularly throughout the year, keep up with current trends and develop your skills further.

A couple of days ago I had the pleasant surprise of seeing my blog on a list of Top 100 Blogs to Boost Your Sales Skills. Of course I was happy, and I am looking forward to some free time this weekend to check out the other blogs on this list. You might like to bookmark them too.

Sales skills are living skills. They need to be honed continually.  In the past you might not have felt the need to update and renovate your sales skills.  But in today’s market it is a necessity of life.

And if you are not in sales and want to gain a competitive advantage, remember it is always worth investing the time and effort into developing strong sales skills.  I have heard often enough that a good salesperson can ride out any recession better than anyone else.
