There seems to be a set of common current buzz words in English speaking countries. Everyone is talking about high gas prices and slow economies. And I have read several headlines recently on how to survive business slumps.

Apparently this slump has hit online business sectors in the North American markets harder than in European markets.

To understand the reasons behind this, you need to look at some marketing basics.

Although the eCommerce predictions for future business in Europe have slowed down, online business growth is still expected to increase significantly.

There are two very obvious reasons to this:

Favorable monetary conditions
