Which internet marketing book to I keep on my desk for up-to-date quick reference?
We often focus on one or two key elements of a successful website. Like getting traffic or keeping clients on our websites longer. And we can forget about the other key ingredients for a successful website.
Ed covers 22 important web strategies you need to know for all websites.
You will find Ed’s book very useful if you already have a website or if you are thinking about creating one.
Many companies start off by creating pretty websites and focus on what they want to tell their readers. And six months later the website owner finds out that ‘pretty’ does not sell, neither does focusing on your own wants and desires.
The Ultimate Web Marketing Strategy is a 200 page book. It gives you all the information you need to make your website successful. It is a useful resource to have on your desk. Each chapter is stand alone. And it is easy to read with graphics showing you everything you need to implement the best web marketing strategy.
In the very beginning Ed lists the 13 most common reasons for poor web performance. This gives you a good checklist to work with and improve your website. Ed’s well-rounded business experience is obvious and he gives us everything all in one book.
A Sneak Peak
Ed has a video product coming out soon on statistics. I can’t wait to see if it is as good as this book. Statistics and Web Marketing go hand in hand.
If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it, and since most business owners have no idea how their website is doing they may as well be running advertising in a foreign language. Statistics are often considered as a chore or too boring. The video format should help get over the procrastination towards statistics.
Happy reading and see you next Sunday for another book review.
