International Marketing Review – Keeping In Touch With Your International Clients

Here are a few articles I came across this week on different ways to keep in touch with clients. These tactics can also work well for international clients.
Jeff Hurt @JeffHurt presents What Is A Virtual Event? posted at Midcourse Corrections saying “In the meetings industry, there is a lot of discussion of virtual meetings and events. So what are virtual meetings and events?” Here are how some of the meetings industry pros define virtual events.”
Tibor Shanto @Renbor presents Newsletters and Prospecting posted at The Pipeline saying “I am a big believer in recycling leads and lead management in general, some would call it lead nurturing. While there is an ongoing debate as to where marketing ends and sales begins, what aspect of lead qualification development should be done by marketing and when; all too many sales people miss opportunities by waiting for or hoping someone else will get things done or do things the sales rep can do regardless of how the role is defined. I do come from the school where at the end of the day the quota is mine, I can rationalize why I missed it or I can do what it takes not to miss it.”
Cheryl Heppard @CherylHeppard presents Customers Benefit from Social Media posted at suite101 saying “Many businesses view social media as a way of increasing financial benefit, yet it’s also a strategy to improve customer service as well. Many businesses are jumping into a social media marketing strategy as a way to increase customers and profits. A successful social media campaign can offer many advantages to the business owner. The benefits to using social media campaigns also can be of value to customers. Social networking can be of benefit to the entreprenuer’s clients in four distinct areas.”
What have these inspired in you? I would love to hear your comments.
