How To Win A Free Spot At The Social Media Success Summit 2009… And Get In, Even If It Is Already Almost Sold Out

Social Media In International Web Marketing

There is no doubt that understanding social media is crucial for successful web marketing today. This is easy to see even if you are not an active web marketer. In fact, anyone with an internet connection is sure to notice the buzz about social media marketing. All businesses are listening.

Many People Buzzing About Social Media Marketing

It is not only about domestic marketing. Any marketing on the web has an international angle.

Last week I explained why social media marketing has to also be part of an international marketing strategy.  It is also about the very nature of social media. The social aspect of social media marketing makes this marketing tactic particularly interesting for international marketing.

As more and more businesses learn how to use the different social media platforms to reach their potential clients, there are more success stories.  Through these different success stories we see the differences in how businesses use social media and others also begin to see how to use it too.  The buzz is getting louder.

A Great Opportunity To Jump Into Social Media

In last week’s article I also told you about a great opportunity to learn all about social media marketing.

I have two bits of news for you today, one good and one bad.  First the bad news…

The Social Media Success Summit 2009 is almost all sold out. That is right.  The sales have almost reached the limit of the spots available.  Social media is a hot topic.  This Success Summit is hot because there is:

  • A great panel of experts lined up – the best people in social media out there
  • A community-building environment with private forum to hang out with everyone – you have to experience it to understand the full dimension this brings to the event
  • An opportunity for you to learn everything about social media marketing within four short weeks – live events one or two days a week plus a private forum to share, ask questions and participate on your own time during the event

If you hurry you might still get a spot, but there are some very influential people promoting this event and the seats are going fast.  I am just not sure how much longer you will be able to get in.

Win A Seat At The Success Summit

The good news: You can win a free spot by taking part in an easy competition. In fact, there are two different prizes:

Twitter Prize: Valued at $497

  • One ticket to Social Media Success Summit 2009

Grand Prize: Valued at $1,693.90!

  • Two tickets to Social Media Success Summit 2009 (one for you and one for a friend)
  • A social media marketing consultation with Michael Stelzner (Michael will spend an hour with you, helping you get your plan in order)
  • A site-critique by Chris Garrett (He will identify actionable steps you can take to improve your blog)
  • A copy of the Problogger book by Darren Rowse and me
  • A copy of the book Writing White Papers by Michael Stelzner

Of course, I hope you understand that participating in this summit is well worth it, but the Grand Prize is a real online business booster. In case you do not know:

  • This is the third Success Summit Mike Stelzner has orchestrated.  These Success Summits are unique community building web based events.  If there was someone I would like to have a social media marketing consultation from it would be Mike.
  • Chris Garrett knows how to use blogs to build authority and your business.

Of course, as this is Mike’s third community-building web event, and given the nature of the event itself and the personalities of the experts involved, anticipation is running high.  The Social Media Success Summit 2009 kicks off on May 26th and lasts for four weeks.  The LinkedIn group, currently open only to participants, and the private forum are up and running with some thought provoking questions there already.

I will be attending and participating in the private forums. My goal for attending this summit is to stay current on the areas where I am comfortable, and to use this month to strengthen my Facebook marketing which has always been the area of least interest to me.

As I see more and more businesses using Facebook successfully to market their activities I just do not want to be left behind. Only nine months ago I thought Twitter was for the birds; now it is the web marketing strategy that brings in the most leads for my business.

Please give me a shout if you are attending too.  I would like to share experiences.  This is fun.

Counting the days… and actually trying to clear my calendar. I’ll listen to the first session on play back – it’s in the middle of the night my end. But the other sessions are late in the evening for me, which might mean later nights than usual… and less productive next mornings :)
