In the first Cultural Awareness Calendar, I explained why I think it is good to have an interest in international and cultural events, news and general information:
- To improve your international skills, capacity for empathy, and knowledge of different cultures.

Twitter is part of my social media marketing plan to reach potential international clients and networking buddies and targets all things international and cross-cultural. Of course, I also follow current web marketing trends too.
