Culture Tips & International Links
Here is a quick summary of what I have been doing on social media strategies this past week. You will find a list of this week’s tweets below.
International Social Media Marketing
This week was one of maintenance. Last month I revised my social media strategy and daily action plans. But I found that I needed to clean up a few things “under the hood”.
- Behind the scenes, my recently created Useful Resource Pages were messy, so I cleaned this up and added clarity in navigation.
- This lead to more behind the scenes fixing up and I repaired all the broken links on this blog… which I had never taken the time to do before.
- A number of social media profiles were updated.
Some new additions:
- New subdomain on this website for my Posterous page. Thanks to Guilherme Zühlke O’Connor’s Posterous for reminding me to do this! By the way, I am still having fun with sharing lots of interesting videos to improve cultural skills for business.
- Sharing more sales-oriented information. This is for the very small businesses or people who come to me looking for miracle solutions for international sales. You also need good sales practices for international markets too – don’t forget this!
After two weeks of this improved social media plan, I can see a few strategic tweaks to get it to fit my schedule better. And I am very impatient to get my new scheduled Tweets into TweetLater. My schedule has just been too tight to get this input, and I do not want to outsource this first entry. Hope to get this new Tweet Plan up and running this week.
Do you have an interesting or useful link on international business, or of cultural interest? Tweet me a link.
