Cross-Cultural Communication Challenge – Expand Your Mindset
Today’s Cross Cultural Communication Challenge Tip is a good communication practice. There are two reasons why it is important to apply this to the letter:
- Different cultures sequence what they say differently. You need to give them time to say everything and to listen to everything that is said… and not said.
- When you are speaking a foreign language, you often need more words to say what you have to say. Of course this depends on your language skills. But the slightest bit of tiredness, or lack of attention, can lengthen the words you need to express yourself in a foreign language.
