Hi Richard,

Isn't it funny to look back and see what life has brought across our paths? I'm sure you have many solid sales skills that easily translate into international sales.

In the monthly Challenges I'm going to try to stay on one particular angle of cross-cultural communication at a time. It is sometimes hard to describe how you improve cross-cultural communication. By staying on one angle I hope to make it easy.

Just had to start with mindset because this is where many people first get stuck. The next two monthly Challenges are my favorites - Clarity and Trust. These help bring in the business. :) And the last one is for the serious people - really good international skills involve Personal Development. Not everyone goes this far, it does take energy and personal investment.

Hope you have as much fun as I do writing them.

Please let me know when your own thoughts lead to similarities or differences. It would be interesting from a sales skills point of view.

Hi Cindy -

Having spoken with tens of thousands of American sales prospects over the past 25 years, and almost no international prospects during this time I find your work very interesting indeed.

Looking forward to reading your blog and following your remarks on Twitter.

Thank you very much.
Richard Howell
