Cross-cultural communication can be challenging. The risks of misunderstandings are high. And even the slightest misunderstanding can incite negative reactions.

This is why today’s Cross Cultural Communication Challenge Tip is important. Many communication difficulties and embarrassments can be avoided once you master the art of controlling your negative reactions.

Cross Cultural Communication Challenge Tip #2 was to ask questions.  Curiosity will help you understand the differences that pop up in cross-cultural communication.  Questions give you time to take in the whole conversation.  The answers to these questions often show you that your negative reactions are out of place.

Refrain from voicing any negative reactions.  Train yourself to ask questions instead.
