Skype is probably my favorite way to reach people. But there are a few things I ask you to pay attention to when connecting to me by Skype:

• If this is the first time you’re connecting with me on Skype, please clearly tell me who YOU are and why you want to speak to me. There are countries where Skype is used as a dating service. Here in France it’s a huge nuisance for women online.  So I don’t accept contacts on Skype from people I do not recognize and who do not state who they are and why they are connecting with me. And to complicate things more many people use different names for their Skype IDs. And they forget that I don’t know them under their Skype name.  Please make it easy for me.
• Please send me a Skype chat message first and wait to get a Skype chat message back before hitting the “call” button.  This is how I use Skype.
• Afternoons my time in Paris are always best. I only rarely take calls in the morning and only from people I’m working with.
