Again, this is a great example of how to take clarity out of communication.
…And how a lack of clarity can easily lead to confusion.
Clarity is one of the two key elements to build trust in cross-cultural communication. The other key trust-building element is consistency.
- Trust is important in all communication.
- Trust becomes more important in business communication.
- And even more important in international business communication.
If you do not make a conscious effort to build trust in international business, it is very simple:
- You will lose international clients.
Luckily building trust does not require complicated and intertwined strategies. All you need to improve is clarity and consistency.
But to get clarity and consistency right, you do need to constantly review your communication for ways to improve it.
