Most people focus on not tweeting too much, but you can also lose the connection if you don't tweet often enough. I've found that about 20 tweets a day works best for me. And this falls into the range that works best for others. (There've been quite a few studies on this) 20 is a lot to do live when you're busy doing your other work... and I do fall short of this often enough to see the results.
