Thanks for your visit Deenation.
And patience can be so hard to hold onto if we’re not totally focused on the conversation at hand.
3 and a half languages…well I could even say 3 and seven eights.
I speak 3 languages fluently enough to negotiate contracts in.
But I let my Spanish skills go before mastering it completely…it’s an effort. That is the half language.
And the other possible three eights. Understanding different languages enough to get by with but not actually having learned to speak them.
I also used to speak a bit of Malay, but no practice at all for too many years.

Cindy I have dealt with non-English speakers in my law practice and you are so right it is absolutely necessary to be patient and be prepared to repeat yourself. Good advice.
By the way how can you be fluent in 31/2 languages? It’s the 1/2 part I don’t get.
